Rock n Roll music is not a dead music genre by what many think, but it has been on a decline of popularity since its peak. This is since Rock n Roll was heavily reliant on record sales, meaning physical copies of their music.
As new genres emerged, such as hip- hop, electronic dance music (EDM), and pop, younger audiences gravi- tated toward these styles, leading to a shift in mainstream music.

But today, record players, CD’s and any other physical way to listen to music is on the decline because of the rise of streaming services and other genres overshadowing Rock n Roll.
